Yes. When using our Mac or Windows applications, your documents remain local and do not leave your device. You may use open-source local LLMs like Llama 3, or choose to send end-to-end encrypted prompt data to OpenAI. OpenAI does not train on this data, as per our data processing agreement.
No. Our agreement with OpenAI prohibits them from using data sent through our service to train their subsequent commercially available AI models.
