AutoMOT is a browser extension that automatically loads the MOT (Ministry of Transport) history of vehicles you are browsing on AutoTrader.co.uk. It uses AI to extract the registration plate from vehicle images and cross-references this data with the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) database, which is updated daily, to display the vehicle's MOT history directly as you browse.
Install the AutoMOT extension, log in, and navigate to AutoTrader.co.uk. The extension will automatically activate when you click on a vehicle listing.
AutoMOT automatically retrieves and displays the MOT history for vehicles you are viewing on AutoTrader.co.uk.
AutoMOT uses AI to identify the registration plate from vehicle images on AutoTrader and cross-references that information with the DVLA database to display the vehicle's history.
AutoMOT pulls information from the DVLA database, which is updated on a daily basis.
At present, AutoMOT is compatible only with AutoTrader.co.uk, with support for additional car-buying websites planned for the future.
