Building a WhatsApp chatbot is typically free on most platforms. Total costs depend on the platform's pricing structure and whether you use the free WhatsApp Business app or the WhatsApp Business API. Both options require a connected WhatsApp business account and a phone number.

API (Application Programming Interface) consists of protocols for building and integrating software. You can use the WhatsApp API to integrate your systems with a chatbot service, enabling the creation of self-service workflows for your business.

A conversation is defined as a single written exchange between a user and a bot, or a user and a Live Chat admin. A conversation is closed if no messages are received from either party for 24 hours. If a user messages the bot again after this period, a new conversation begins. You can view your conversation usage under the Billing tab.

Monthly invoices are available in your dashboard under the Billing tab. Click on Payments to view the receipt icon next to the amount for each month.

Paid plans include a set number of conversations and are billed monthly on the date of subscription activation. If you exceed your plan's limit, an adjustment fee based on the number of additional conversations will be charged at the end of the month. More information is available in the Billing tab.

Yes, you can cancel your paid plan at any time, with the exception of customers under custom Chatfuel pricing agreements with individual terms.
