Currently, Octolens tracks mentions on Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Reddit, GitHub, YouTube, Stack Overflow, Product Hunt, Hacker News, and DEV.to. We frequently add new sources; please contact us if you have a specific request.

Accuracy varies by platform. For Twitter/X, Reddit, DEV, and YouTube, we capture 100% of keyword mentions. For other platforms, we function similarly to a logged-out user searching via Google, meaning we may not capture every mention, though our hit rate remains above 80%.

Yes, you can receive notifications for new mentions directly in Slack. You can also customize which relevance levels trigger these alerts, such as focusing only on high-relevance posts involving buying intent or engagement opportunities.

Yes. You can choose to receive notifications immediately, or on an hourly, daily, or weekly basis. Many users prefer a combination of daily email summaries and instant Slack notifications.

We do not offer an API, but we do provide Webhooks, which allow you to send mentions to various apps, CRMs, or spreadsheets. Our webhooks are compatible with Discord, and you can use automation tools like Zapier, n8n, or Make to route notifications to your preferred applications.

While our interface is in English, you can search for keywords in any language. Note that for Twitter, we currently only retrieve English results. Ensure you have not selected 'EN only' in your feed settings to view posts in other languages.
