What are chips? +

Chips are credits used for high-resolution image and video editing across all our platforms. Processing one image requires one chip. Thumbnails are free on dioptify.com and cost 0.25 chips on other platforms. Subscriptions provide a monthly quota of chips that can be used within the month or carried over while your subscription remains active. One-time purchase chips are valid for five years.

Should I choose a subscription or a one-time payment? +

One-time payments are ideal for occasional editing or if your requirements are difficult to predict. For high-volume or recurring needs, a subscription offers savings on every edit. Subscriptions start at 25 images per month and allow you to carry over unused credits for up to seven months, providing discounts without long-term commitments.

Which image formats are supported? +

You can upload all standard image formats up to 50 megabytes. Images exceeding 50 megapixels (e.g., 8700 × 5800 pixels or equivalent) will be automatically resized to this maximum resolution.

What payment methods are accepted? +

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and Bitcoin.

What happens when I run out of chips? +

You will receive an email notification once you have used 75% of your monthly subscription tokens. Once all tokens are exhausted, high-resolution editing is paused until the next billing cycle. If you require more chips, you can upgrade your subscription or purchase a one-time chip package. There are no overdraft fees.
