How to use Mercer?
Create a Mercer account and initiate a new design using the AI design tool. You can start from inspiration photos, hand sketches, CADs, or tech packs, or use AI to generate new designs. Collaborate within the platform by assigning tasks, adding notes, and managing your collection assets. Finally, share your designs directly with team members and production partners.

Mercer is a platform that helps creators conceptualize, design, and produce fashion products and collections.
How do I create my first design? +
Once you create your Mercer account, you will be prompted to start a new design using the AI design tool from the home page. Simply click “New Design,” select “Create AI Image,” and follow the on-screen instructions.
What image generation model do you use? +
We currently use a combination of Flux and Stable Diffusion, depending on the specific feature. Mercer is built to be model-agnostic, ensuring we can provide the latest and most effective models directly within the platform.
Do you provide production & manufacturing services for what I design in Mercer? +
This service is available for Enterprise subscriptions. For Designer, Studio, and Studio Pro subscriptions, we do not provide production or manufacturing services.
Why would I use Mercer if you don’t make the product? +
Our software serves as a standalone design and collaboration tool for individuals or teams that already have an established production and manufacturing network. It streamlines communication through features like comments, notes, measurements, tasks, and timelines, allowing you to share designs directly with your manufacturers without needing external file transfer services.
Do you have product templates I can use for my collection? +
We do not have them yet, but we are currently developing them.
Who owns the designs that I create using Mercer? +
You retain full ownership. We will never use, sell, or license any content you create using our software without your consent.
Will other people be able to use my trained models? +
Your trained models are private by default, though you have the option to share them with other Mercer users if you choose.
Is my data used to train AI models? +
No, we do not use your data to train our foundational models or the models of other customers.
